I won! I received the amazing news as I was being filmed for a TV property show so unfortunately I couldn’t share my joy with my colleagues. One of the most frequent questions I was asked was “what inspired you to do engineering?” I was an anomaly, as I don’t think I knew anything about engineering at the time I started. But having found it, I was fortunate enough to have a great set of lecturers and co-workers that got me engaged and keep me loving the discipline to this day.
