I would donate the money to a local school STEM club.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
I would describe myself as tenacious, opinionated, and helpful, but my wife would say I am grumpy, lazy, and annoying!
What's the best thing you've done in your career?
Mentored a group of hard working school students on an engineering project, and they won the award for the design of the prototype.
What did you want to be after you left school?
I was not sure what I wanted to be, but I knew I wanted to do something technical as my grandfather brought me up that way.
Were you ever in trouble at school?
Had my ear tweaked once or twice for being cheeky!
If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?
A surgeon; medical documentries fascinate me.
Who is your favourite singer or band?
I’m going to go with the typical Welsh response and say Stereophonics, though secretly I listen to Little Mix.
What's your favourite food?
Chicken nuggets and waffles… it’s what I feed my kids.
What is the most fun thing you've done?
By far, white water rafting in Cuba and Mexico. Its so much more fun when the water is warm.
