• Question: Are your jobs done by using a lot of /machinery or is some of it done manually?

      There are lots of different machines at my job, we fill 1 millions cans of beans a day so it would be impossible to do it by hand (unless you had thousands of people :-))

      It’s my job to help choose what machines we need and investigate new machines that might be able to do it better!

      I work at a university so there is more manual work done here, but that is just so that students learn things that would otherwise be done automatically. Most of it is weighing things out and making medium (bacterial food) the rest of mostly operating machines, designing machines and processes.
