I’d like to work more with ingredients. We buy a lot of tomatoes and how the are processed really interests me.

It also means I would get to travel to Spain and California a lot 🙂

Even at 40 I still have career aspirations. I am currently studying a Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering at the University of South Wales and have my eye on the goal of becoming a Chartered Engineer. Its a lot of hard work, but it will be very rewarding in the end. My long term goal is to become an Engineering Manager and lead teams of engineers in New product development, passing on my skills and knowledge.

I would like to lead my own team but I have a lot of hard work to do first…I still have a lot to learn and need to build my confidence.
I am also working towards my Chartership. Lots of report writing but it will be worth it in the end!

I love working at a university because I like the student side of the job, teaching and training etc. I don’t know where I will end up though, but I hope I will always be able to help students learn about Engineering.
