• Question: Why should more girls become engineers?

      Engineering needs ideas to solve problems, lots of ideas and different people have different ideas, so we need as many different people as possible so we can get as many different ideas as possible and that helps us get the best ideas and the nest solutions to the problems we face.
      Girls are as able as boys and the more we encourage to do engineering the more different ideas we could get and the quicker we can solve problems.

      Unfortunately there weren’t as many girls on my course as boys at university and this leads to fewer females engineers, however, at my job I work in a team of 6 and 4 of us a girls! It’s great to have a diverse group of people to work in a team with, different people will have different ideas that will ultimately lead to better solutions!
