I didn’t think about it much until I was 16, then I did an engineering scheme where I solved a real life engineering problem!

In a team of 4 with my teacher we had to find a way of stopping waste getting into a river. We disigend a filtration system that is still used today!

I’d reccommend trying to get experience anywhere you can to see if you like it too!

I didn’t actually think about Engineering until I was deciding what to do at University. Engineering wasn’t really discussed at school so I didn’t know much about it until my Dad mentioned it as an option.

I never thought about it till i came to university but I had some really good lecturers that inspired me to carry one with engineering! So for me I was about 23 years old! its never too late!
