      A good question, I would say that i would earn more if i worked in industry but you stay in university for the freedom and fun!

      Not enough to feed my wife’s endless thirst for shopping. I may have to go moonlighting to support her wardrobe 🙂 I’m only joking, Engineering is a well paid career and you get to contribute to the future as well.

      Honestly I’m not sure, I get paid hourly as an apprentice with my contract so any overtime I do affects my salary. Although the pay is definitely better than when I worked as a sales assistant and being in industry is a lot more fun than doing the store inventory count.
