• Question: What inspired you to be an engineer

      I did the Engineering education scheme, without this I’m not sure I would have considered engineering. There isn’t a subject at school called “engineering” you do science and maths but I’d never really thought about it before this scheme.

      We teamed up with a real engineer to make a solution to a waste rubbish problem in a river. Our design is still in place today 10 years later!

      If you can do some work experience or even just talk to people in different industries it will help you make your mind up and if you still can’t make your mid up, it doesn’t matter, just try loads of different things 🙂

      I never thought about it till i came to university but I had some really good lecturers that inspired me to carry one with engineering!
