• Question: Who inspired you to be an engineer?

      I’m not sure if it still exists but when I was 16 my school took part in the Engineering Education Scheme.

      In this project me and a team of 4 helped design a solution to a real life engineering problem. We designed a system that stopped rubbish from being washed into a local river and it is still being used today.

      Before doing this scheme I didn’t know anything about engineering, if your school offers it I would definitely recommend it.

      I never thought about it till i came to university but I had some really good lecturers that inspired me to carry one with engineering!
